Charles Fox

" In 1878 Mr. Charles H. Fox established his eponymous company in the heart of London to supply the professional theatre of his day with costumes, wigs and make-up. Among his chief clients were Sir Henry Irving & Ellen Terry resident at the Lyceum Theatre and Fox's designs for their wigs still exist to this day. "

" Over the years FOX learned to embrace the rapidly increasing technology, which has shaped the entertainment industry over the last 125 years. Electric Lighting, Motion Pictures and Colour Television have all challenged the make-up designer in turn and FOX is proud to have been able to supply them with the best products for the job. "

" Today FOX specialise solely in make-up and are still supplying to the Lyceum Theatre, though it has changed a good deal since the great Irving's day, (at present it is home to Disney's worldwide success, The Lion King). However our aims are as valid today as they were then - to supply the make-up artist with the best products at competitive prices. "
