Furrynet

Furrynet is a set of news servers and a hierarchy of news groups dedicated to the furry fandom (in a wide sense). Since these servers are somewhat separate from the traditional Usenet hierarchy, policies can and are be put in place to reduce the amount of inappropriate traffic.

The machines that make up the service have changed from time to time, mainly subject to the financial fortunes and free time of those who run, maintain them, and pay for the bandwidth. For instructions on participating read the Introduction To The Furrynet (fur.*) Newsgroups. Various servers require you to use usernames and passwords.
