Got up late - a real surprise after the alf party went on to 3am! Brunch at Michaels Deli, at least we beat the family Kimba by a half hour or so. Having already missed various sigs that I was interested in, hit the dealers room. This was to be a long stay...
First up I bought all eight issues of Associated Student Bodies, as you can't really ignore the recommendations of a manticore. Met Zak from .uk who was dressed in black with a long leather coat and big boots. While this would have been inconspicuous at a London furs meet. it was rather distinctive at Anthrocon. His snow-leopard room mate had a gorgeously touchable and very long tail.
Caught up too with Shockwave, who told me about FlexiStrip sensors, and Laura and Aerofox who were suited up and being the cute couple in love. I also found David Mech's "The Wolf" which is the "bible" of wolf biology at the bookstore, something I'd never expected to find. As Tirran later said "At last, someone gets it".
In various breaks from the hectic activity I managed to read all of the ASB comics (though "comic" hardly seems a fair description). I think it says something of the story that it managed to raise a few tears from me despite the anti-depressants that doctor has me on. I know I'm by no means the first to say this, but it is a wonderful.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Dr. Demento party, and the attendant silliness. Did my part to introduce a first batch of furs to good chocolate, and try to get them hooked. I'm sure many will remember their first experience of the Noir Infiniti - some can probably still taste it! And while I'm glad Jinx made so much selling his wares in the Artists Alley, I do have to question the wisdom of letting the cubs have six of those clubs.
